Star Trek: Discovery – is this the birth of the Q?

Having been a Star Trek fan all my life I waited with bated breath for the release of Star Trek: Discovery on Netflix. I had deliberately not read any hype about it at all because I wanted to make my own judgments and figure it out myself … because if I couldn’t do that it was probably going to speak volumes as to whether it was going to be added to ‘My List’. I was not disappointed.
